Are You A Thinker, Planner, Doer, Networker?
If your brain had a profile... what would it be? The multiple brain styles include the Thinker, Planner, Doer, Networker, Synthesizer, Feeler, Reasoner, and Analyzer. Today, let's focus on the first four.
Most of us are a combination of all of these... but we normally have one dominant profile.
What is your dominant brain style... Are you a Thinker, Planner, Doer, or Networker?
How has it impacted your sales career?
How has your dominant style changed based on your position or role?

Statements that describe the Thinker: "I have a new idea!" Your mind is always imagining "What would happen if..." Your friend or your spouse tells you a story and then they test you with something like... "What did I just say?" |
| Describing the Planner: "Everything has to be perfect!" "Franklin Covey is my favorite store!" You are not making a move until you have it all mapped out... You have a list for everything! |

Doer: "If it's going to be, it's up to me." "Scoot over, let me give it a try." "My turn! ...I'll do it!" "I'll get it done!" |
| Networker: "I love meeting new people!" You know everybody. You are the life of the party. You are a member of ...you name it! |

After much deliberation and soul searching, I've determined that I'm a quadraphoenic schizophrenic.

Geez, such tough questions!
I am a Networker (big surprise there), with Thinker as my secondary style.
Through the connections and contacts I have made at various networking events, I am able to implement ideas, suggestions, and tips for successful marketing and advertising. With a focus on small & home-based businesses and a goal of keeping their doors open and NEVER closed, it is easy to keep focused on the light at the end of the tunnel. Moving in and out of each brain types allows me to capitalize on the strengths of each client. For instance, if they are a DOER, they may not know what to do...but partnered with a THINKER, it becomes obvious. Someone who prefers to remain behind the scenes needs to partner with a NETWORKER who enjoys being out and about promoting them.
Once you can identify your client's brain type, your job is much easier - provide for them what THEY NEED and you've found a life-long partnership! These are the clients I work best with...those just getting started in business, not sure what to do or how to do it, or if they are doing it right.
Add a bit of optimism, a non-judgemental attitude, future-focused mindset, and the willingness to share your knowledge and expertise...who wouldn't want to work with you?!!

Dear all,
You have to excuse me for introducing another word - I'm an observer.
I notice a lot of things and start thinking, reasoning, considering, ...
It's remarkable, my consultants say.
If only I am in a job or function that really puts me on time or result limits, it starts to fade away.
Am I that partucular? I don't think so.
I suppose a lot of persons are able to do more/better if the stress weren't ...
I hope my answer has been useful.
Kind regards,
