Father's Day Letter

Dad,

You have always been a symbol of great strength and power.  I will always remember the qualities I have learned from you… drive, discipline, integrity, excellence, motivation, success, accountability, and leadership.  Thank you for always keeping such high expectations of me.  Over the years, we have really grown to understand each other.  You know how much I admire and look up to you… but the thing that means the most… is that I know how proud you are of me.

Happy Father's Day... I love you Dad!

Doyle

    Hi Doyle,

Exactly my sentiments about my father. I was very lucky to have had a father that was intelligent, rational and considerate. It's just too bad that I lost him when he was only 51. He was one of the best men that I've ever met in my life. Happy Father's Day to you too!!!

    Doyle,
I enjoy the fact you are able to use this national podium. I am quite a bit older than you and I appreciate the fact that you took the time to grace your father and show respect in this way.

I can neither show my love for my mom or dad in any way as they are both gone. I regret that I didn't say, "I love you or I appreciate you", enough. I urge those of you who still have parents that are living, to stop your money chasing and way too busy life to stop and honor your parents. I write this as my parents have been gone for some time and I have tears in my eyes. Stop whatever you are doing right now and call them NOW. You will make their day and prevent heartache for yourself later when it is too late. God Bless!
