5 Tips for Winning with Online Buyers

1. Quality Banner Ad – Keep your banner ads simple and easy to read. Animation also works well with a maximum of two to three transitions. Remember to boost your click through rate with a call to action!

2. File Size – Keep your file size down. You want your banner ad to load quickly and be visible to readers as-soon-as they land and scroll down the page.

3. Quality Landing Page -

Make it Look Good – If it looks cheap or loosely put together, visitors won’t trust that your product is legit.
No Long Copy – I don’t think this works with sales people. We get board after the first paragraph.
Show Me the Price – Make it easy for readers to find your pricing plan. If visitors can’t find your pricing, they’ll go to another site that simplifies the buying decision.
Demo Area – A demo area and/or sample videos are very effective. People like to see what they are buying. If they like what they see, your conversion rates will be high!
One Click Gets Me to the Checkout Area – When a prospect is ready to buy, let them buy! Include a “buy now” button that takes them directly to the checkout area.

4. Instant Access to the Product – Use an auto-responder that immediately emails your new customer with a link to download the product or the required login information to access your service.

5. Outstanding Product – Be honest. If you promise a certain level of quality, your product needs to live up to the hype. Spend a little extra time getting feedback from friends and colleagues. You only get one shot at earning a buyer’s trust. Before launching your product, ask yourself, “Is this the type of quality product that will get my current buyers to purchase my stuff in the future?”
